Adult Collectibles: Associate | Coordinator, May 2022 - March 2025
I was promoted from Coordinator to Associate on the North America Adult Collectibles Licensing team in October 2024, working with some of the most prominent collectibles companies in the world, including but not limited to Sideshow, Funko, and Topps. During my tenure on the Collectibles team, I was given the opportunity to manage the relationship with Precious Moments. Launching these Muppet collectibles with them has been one of my proudest career achievements.
In March 2025, I accepted a Temporary Assignment as an Associate on the Construction & Vehicles team under Scott Ferguson, working with LEGO, Spin Master, and other notable companies. My responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-
Manage licensee portfolio and support Senior Manager with everyday responsibilities, such as: contract/amendment entry, to ensure new and existing agreements are maintained; OPA approvals, to ensure all items reflect DCPI quality and objectives; presentation development, to provide external partners with updates about upcoming content and provide cross divisional internal partners with updates on new and existing products from licensees
-
Owned the relationship with licensee Precious Moments during my tenure on Adult Collectibles. Currently own the relationships with licensees Jam’n, World Tech Toys, and long-standing partner Lionel, through avenues including but not limited to: managing and leading regularly scheduled meetings, ensuring contract compliance, facilitating contract renewals and negotiations, managing financials, and working with cross divisional teams such as PR and D23 to maximize visibility and opportunities
-
Work across matrixed series of teams to: obtain rights and clearances; assist partners with retail placement, to provide additional visibility for external DCPI partners; achieve growth goals across franchises and categories; feature new product launches and integrate licensees within wider brand and marketing plans
-
Implement new systems to assist with the organization and completion of recurring, high-priority tasks such as forecasting, PR/Social Media engagement and awareness of key products, and annual business planning/reviews
-
Compile and present category strategy and product line offerings to internal stakeholders to inform retail, product development, category, and brand strategy conversations
-
Spearhead strategic organizational processes to resolve issues such as the ASGARD to OPA transition and the implementation of the PISTON system

I worked with a team of Cast Members in 2 different locations to serve over 8,000 Guests per day. I handled pedestrian traffic, stroller and wheelchair parking, and ensured Guest satisfaction, while working in a constantly changing environment. I was trained to handle unexpected cancellations and closings, as well as hostile Guest situations, and assisted with extremely high Guest flow situations, including the winter holidays and opening days for Galaxy’s Edge and Rise of the Resistance.
My biggest takeaway from the experience? Stickers fix any problem.
